The Friends of Humbug Gathering was held Saturday July 27, 2019. The weather was beautiful, it was a relief from the heat to be out at Tásmam Koyóm for the day. This year there was more in attendance than the previous years. A big thank you to all who came out to the valley for friendship and good food. As always, there was more than enough food to go around. Ben and Kimberly Cunningham-Summerfield were presenting this year, showing willing participants how to make rope using willow and how to throw an atlatl.

MSC’s office manager Shannon Williams, along with volunteers, Sophia Williams and Ronald Kelly demonstrated and helped guests throw a double bit ax. We had many vendors including board member Lorena Gorbet selling her beaded necklaces and earrings, her grandson, Liam, sold his bird houses.

It was a great day to have lunch, meet with our FOH members, and visit old and new friends.

We hope to see everyone next year!

Thank you for your support!
